What does it take to become a legend? This was what we asked Ian Rush and John Aldridge as the focus of our campaign to promote the 2024 Liverpool FC Legends Match. The two icons sat down to discuss what goes into a legendary career, while giving a few tips and also showing us some of the fruits of their labour.
Some impressive things from the day were John Aldridge’s golden boot, Ian Rush’s FA Cup final shirt, mainly because I don’t know how he played in all that polyester, but most of all was the impeccable timing of the people mowing the lawn.
